Every October, Wayne's World
of Paintball hosts the "Nightmare on Pine Street", a fundraiser event that
features a haunted trail.
The event raises thousands of
dollars for the Marine Corps' "Toys for Tots" and Ocala Fire Rescue's "Cathy's
Kids".
This year, the paintball field
is under construction in progress of meeting city codes.
We are able to run the trail
under strict regulations and in cooperation with the current plans for
the paintball field.
We need volunteers for the event
itself, such as actors, prop creators, makeup artists, parking attendants,
costume designers or any other
skills you may have to offer.
The event will be on October
9, 10, 16, 17, 23 & 24.
(If a hurricane should cause
a shut down on any of those days, we will have October 30 as a rain date.)
Before October, we will be planning
and setting up the trail, so we will need volunteers to help with setup
as well.
Anyone with electrical knowledge,
fire safety background or experience with understanding Florida building
codes would be extremely helpful at this time!
